Programmable 1 or 2 Needle Unit
Sewing the left second facing and the front panels in sequence (1 or 2 needle sewing sequence).
These two operations, normally carried out by two operators on two different machines, are carried out by the same operator in linear sequence.
The great flexibility offered by this workstation reflects the philosophy of Vibemac Quality Jeans, where the simplicity of the automation applied offers versatility in the production line and lowers running costs.
The 2250 FLIP-FLOP unit is an example of this.
It halves the number of machines needed for the operation and, therefore, reduces production time by eliminating the need to move the material from one position to another.
The total execution (sewing) time of the two operations is the same, either when carried out by two different machines or when our 2250 FLIP-FLOP unit is used.
The advantage (quantified in +25% productivity) lies in the reduced time needed to place and transfer the fabric during the production cycle, not to mention the fact that 1 operator carries out 2 operations with only 1 machine.
The sequence of operations is as follows:
the operator carries out single needle sewing for the application of the front second facing.
When the thread is cut, the second needle automatically starts to seam the front panels together.
In the next step, the unit automatically disconnects the second needle, and so on.
The presence of special devices such as the thread aspiration pipe and a special compensative pressure foot allow the operator to carry out the above mentioned operations in a clean and easy way.
