Semi - Automatic Pocket Setter Unit
The semi-automatic unit is extremely flexible and user friendly when it comes to applying pre-creased pockets onto jeans and casual trousers.
It can also perform other different operations such as: rear pocket design, flap stitching, pence sewing or the application of lateral patch cargo pockets on military trousers, shorts, or other models.
This unit also performs more unusual operations such as applying patches to trousers.
Available also with DCTechnology, which enables the end user to stitch 2 colors at the same time! The 2516V4/V2 is a unique automatic unit that uses an extremely flexible system which is not only simple, but easy to learn to use for even unskilled operators.
The operator can easily manage this unit in tandem with Vibemac 001V/VMAXI/VE/VE MAXI in order to obtain a production maximum of 2000 pockets in a 8 hour shift.
The operator loads the pocket with the relative quarter onto the special loader device (patented), which is supplied with reference points in order to perfectly position the quarter-piece, leaving no possibility of loss of balance, even when using stretch or hi-tech fabric.
Two special jigs (patented) then hold the quarter-piece and the pocket whilst the sewing head does its job.
At the end of the sewing cycle an un-loader automatically intervenes to clear the sewing area, which happens to be the widest of its category (250mm x 250mm!!) , allowing the automatic re-start of the new sewing cycle.

Nowadays with the global market which is characterized by frequent fashion changes and small quantity orders, there is a concrete need to drastically reduce the main cost involved in running the units and increase the possibilities to use them for different productions.
The change of the pocket jigs doesn’t need the presence of Vibemac’s technicians because the supplied floppy disk which contains all the programs (requested by the customer at the time their order was placed), makes creating and modifying the sewing programs as easy as drinking a glass of water!!
The pocket jigs for the pressing unit 001V and pocket setter 2516V4/V2 are distinguished by a progressive number which identifies the model.
This gives the possibility to have sent, in only a matter of hours by email, all the desired sewing programs needed by the customer when he is not able to produce the jigs by himself or whenever it is not possible to get the pocket’s jigs locally made.
